this is Jeffrey.

The Great Pyrenees' job description is guarding sheep.
These people are definitely NOT sheep.

Wall-E

This cute little dog,
now named Wall-E,
isn't supposed to be alive.

He (along with the rest of his littermates) was abandoned
in front of a shelter
and since the shelter
didn't have any room to care for him,
was put to sleep.

Wall-E was euthanized twice, with lethal injections to both his heart and limbs, and was pronounced dead after a stethoscope test. They discarded Wall-E and the other dogs in a trash dumpster and moved on.

But! The story doesn't end there. Amazingly, the next day Wall-E wasn't dead. He was somehow resurrected, alive and kicking. Hell, he was healthy as can be, walking around inside the dumpster (his littermates all died) and just doing dog things. An angel dog they called him. A survivor, a fighter and a medical miracle. Yay for Yogi!

Paul Horton and his 4-year old golden retriever, Yogi, set out to exercise—Horton biked and Yogi trotted beside him. While on a mountain trail a few blocks from home, Horton hit a bump, flipped over the handlebars and landed on his head. He was paralyzed.

For the next 45 minutes, Yogi refused to leave. When Horton told Yogi to go home, he instead went to the top of the hill where the trail met the road and barked furiously. Luckily, Horton’s neighbors were walking their dog nearby and were drawn by Yogi’s barking and out-of-character agitation. Once they were closer, Yogi ran down the hill and led them to where Horton lay. When they reached Horton, Yogi stood sentry.

Even when the paramedics arrived, Yogi refused to leave Horton’s side. After surgery and countless tests, Horton found out he had broken a vertebra and was paralyzed from the chest down. But without quick treatment, the injury would have been even worse. Horton is still receiving treatment, but when he is home from the hospital, Yogi stays glued to his side.
